About Our Services

Professional Support for Healthier-Looking Hair and Scalp

At Kosmetae Clinic, our trichology and hair-and-scalp care services focus on the visible condition of the hair and scalp, cosmetic assessment, supportive scalp care, hair-fibre protection, and personalized home-care guidance.

Our services may help clients better understand factors that can affect the appearance and condition of their hair and scalp, including:

  • Hair-care practices
  • Heat and chemical damage
  • Hair breakage
  • Split ends
  • Tangling and knotting
  • Scalp dryness or oiliness
  • Product buildup
  • Tight hairstyles and mechanical tension
  • General scalp hygiene
  • Changes in visible hair density

Every service begins with a professional consultation so that we can understand your concerns, review your hair-care routine, assess visible hair and scalp conditions, and recommend appropriate cosmetic care.

Our trichology services are cosmetic and educational. They do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Our Services

Hair-and-Scalp Services

Hair-and-Scalp Consultation

A Hair-and-Scalp Consultation is the first step in understanding your concerns and identifying suitable cosmetic care options.

During the consultation, your practitioner may review:

  • Your main hair or scalp concerns
  • How long the concern has been present
  • Your current hair-care routine
  • Shampoos, conditioners, and styling products
  • Colouring, bleaching, relaxing, or permanent-wave history
  • Use of heated styling tools
  • Hairstyling habits
  • Hair extensions, wigs, or hairpieces
  • Changes in shedding or visible density
  • Scalp sensitivity, itching, flaking, or discomfort
  • Allergies and sensitivities
  • Relevant medications and health history
  • Recent pregnancy, surgery, illness, or major life changes
  • Previous professional or medical assessments
  • Possible contraindications
  • Referral needs

This consultation helps us determine whether cosmetic care is appropriate or whether referral to a healthcare professional may be recommended.

Cosmetic Hair and Scalp Assessment

Our cosmetic assessment focuses on the visible condition of the hair and scalp.

The practitioner may assess:

  • Scalp surface
  • Hair density and distribution
  • Hair-shaft texture
  • Porosity
  • Elasticity
  • Breakage
  • Split ends
  • Dryness
  • Oiliness
  • Product buildup
  • Signs of heat or chemical damage
  • Signs of mechanical tension

Magnification or scalp-imaging equipment may be used to support observation and client education. These tools are used for cosmetic assessment only and do not diagnose alopecia, infection, inflammatory disease, hormonal disorders, or other medical conditions.

Photographs may be taken for progress monitoring with your informed consent.

Personalized Hair-Care Plan

Following your consultation, your practitioner may develop a personalized cosmetic hair-care plan.

Recommendations may include:

  • Appropriate cleansing frequency
  • Shampoo and conditioner selection
  • Scalp-care products
  • Moisturizing and conditioning treatments
  • Reduction of excessive heat exposure
  • Safer use of thermal styling tools
  • Protection from chemical overprocessing
  • Gentle detangling methods
  • Reduction of excessive traction
  • Management of product buildup
  • Trimming to manage split ends
  • Protective styling practices
  • Referral for medical or professional assessment where appropriate

The plan is designed to support hair manageability, scalp cleanliness, and protection of the existing hair fibre. It does not guarantee reduced hair loss, new hair growth, follicle regeneration, or reversal of baldness.

Cosmetic Scalp-Care Treatment

Our Cosmetic Scalp-Care Treatment is a non-invasive service designed to support scalp cleanliness, comfort, and overall cosmetic condition.

The treatment may include:

  • Gentle scalp cleansing
  • Removal of cosmetic product buildup
  • Scalp-compatible exfoliation
  • Conditioning treatment
  • Non-invasive scalp massage
  • Application of cosmetic scalp serum
  • Hair and scalp-care education
  • Personalized home-care recommendations

All products are selected according to the client's visible scalp condition, sensitivities, treatment goals, and manufacturer instructions. Cosmetic scalp products are not represented as medications or as treatments for medical conditions.

Hair-Fibre and Breakage Consultation

This service focuses on the visible condition and care of the hair shaft. It may be suitable for clients concerned about:

  • Split ends
  • Hair knots
  • Tangling
  • Hair-shaft breakage
  • Dryness
  • Reduced elasticity
  • High porosity
  • Heat damage
  • Chemical damage
  • Friction-related damage

Your practitioner may recommend changes to cleansing and conditioning, heat styling, chemical services, detangling, brushing, product selection, protective styling, and haircutting frequency. Cosmetic products may temporarily smooth or improve the appearance of split ends, but they cannot permanently repair them. Trimming is generally required to remove the damaged portion of the hair.

Support for Hair Shedding and Density Concerns

Kosmetae Clinic may provide general education and cosmetic support for clients concerned about increased shedding or changes in visible hair density.

The service may include:

  • Review of hair-care practices
  • Assessment of visible breakage
  • Discussion of mechanical tension
  • Review of product use
  • Scalp-care recommendations
  • Hair-fibre protection strategies
  • Progress photographs, with consent
  • Referral where appropriate

Hair shedding may be influenced by many factors, including genetics, hormonal changes, nutrition, illness, medication, pregnancy, surgery, stress, inflammatory conditions, infection, and autoimmune conditions. Our cosmetic practitioners do not diagnose the cause of hair loss or prescribe treatment.

Cosmetic Scalp Serum Treatment

Kosmetae Clinic may offer non-invasive cosmetic scalp serum treatments to support scalp comfort, conditioning, and home-care routines.

A Cosmetic Scalp Serum Treatment may include:

  • Scalp cleansing
  • Gentle exfoliation where appropriate
  • Scalp massage
  • Application of a cosmetic serum
  • Conditioning
  • Home-care guidance

This service does not involve stem-cell therapy, injectable treatment, prescription medication, or biological tissue collection. It does not guarantee hair regrowth or reduced hair loss.

Important Information

What You Should Know

When Medical Assessment May Be Recommended

You may be referred to a family physician, nurse practitioner, dermatologist, or another appropriate healthcare professional if you experience:

  • Sudden or unexplained hair loss
  • Patchy hair loss
  • Rapidly increasing shedding
  • Scarring or shiny areas of the scalp
  • Pain, burning, bleeding, or discharge
  • Open wounds
  • Significant inflammation
  • Signs of infection
  • Persistent or thick scaling
  • Loss of eyebrows or eyelashes
  • Hair loss following medication or medical treatment
  • Hair loss accompanied by other health symptoms
  • Suspected hormonal or nutritional concerns
  • Suspicious scalp lesions

Referral helps ensure that concerns outside the scope of cosmetic practice are assessed appropriately.

Important Information About Stem-Cell Treatments

Kosmetae Clinic does not describe ordinary cosmetic serums, plant-derived ingredients, conditioned products, or scalp massage as stem-cell therapy.

The term stem-cell therapy should only be used where the exact product and procedure are properly authorized and delivered by appropriately qualified and authorized healthcare professionals.

Unauthorized cell, exosome, extracellular-vesicle, or biologically derived treatments may involve significant safety and regulatory concerns.

For this reason, Kosmetae Clinic does not make unsupported claims about:

  • Stem-cell treatment for hair growth
  • Follicle regeneration
  • Hair cloning
  • Stem-cell replication
  • Guaranteed future regenerative therapy
  • Guaranteed restoration of hair growth

Hair Follicle Biobanking

Hair-follicle biobanking involves the collection, processing, transportation, preservation, and long-term storage of human biological material.

This is not an ordinary salon or cosmetic scalp-care service. It may involve:

  • Invasive follicle collection
  • Human tissue handling
  • Laboratory processing
  • Cryogenic storage
  • Chain-of-custody procedures
  • Long-term consent agreements
  • Privacy safeguards
  • Regulatory oversight
  • Specialized clinical and laboratory facilities

Kosmetae Clinic should only offer or promote hair-follicle biobanking where there is a formal and verified relationship with an appropriate biological-storage facility and where all legal, clinical, privacy, consent, transportation, and storage requirements are met.

Storing a hair follicle does not guarantee that new hair follicles can be produced, hair cloning will become available, stored tissue will remain usable, a future treatment will be approved, hair growth will be restored, or a client will qualify for future treatment. Any future-use discussion must be presented as experimental and not as a guaranteed service outcome.

Treatment Records and Privacy

Kosmetae Clinic maintains appropriate records to support continuity, safety, and individualized care.

Your treatment record may include:

  • Date of service
  • Consultation findings
  • Visible hair and scalp observations
  • Relevant product and health history
  • Contraindications
  • Referral recommendations
  • Products and equipment used
  • Treatment performed
  • Client response
  • Home-care recommendations
  • Photographs, with consent
  • Adverse reactions or incidents
  • Practitioner identification

Personal information and photographs are handled according to applicable privacy requirements and clinic policies.

Important Information

Kosmetae Clinic's trichology and hair-and-scalp services are cosmetic and educational unless expressly delivered as healthcare by an appropriately regulated professional.

Kosmetae Clinic does not:

  • Diagnose hair or scalp diseases
  • Claim to cure alopecia
  • Guarantee reduced hair loss
  • Guarantee new hair growth
  • Prescribe medication
  • Recommend stopping prescribed medication
  • Advertise unauthorized stem-cell treatments
  • Apply unauthorized biological products
  • Claim that follicles can currently be cloned or replicated
  • Guarantee future therapeutic value from stored tissue
  • Make unsupported medical or regenerative claims

Clients with sudden, persistent, patchy, painful, inflammatory, infectious, or otherwise concerning hair or scalp changes should seek medical assessment.
