Program Overview

This program is suited to students who want to become hairdressers, hairstylists, aestheticians, facial specialists, makeup artists, waxing service providers, or salon and spa entrepreneurs.

The Hair & Facial Design Program provides theoretical and practical training in haircutting, hairstyling, colouring, texturizing, facial care, makeup artistry, waxing, sanitation, client consultation, and professional salon practice. By the end of the program, graduates are prepared to apply hair, facial, makeup, waxing, and client-care skills in professional salon, spa, and beauty environments.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements to enrol in the Hair & Facial Design Program.

Minimum Education

Grade 12, Mature Student Status, or equivalent.

Minimum Age

19 years of age or older, where applicable.

Genuine Interest

  • Precision CuttingLayered, textured, asymmetrical, undercut, club, and avant-garde haircutting techniques.
Styling & Colour Styling Techniques · Colour Technology · Texturizing
  • Styling TechniquesUp-dos, bridal styling, braiding, extensions, curling, perming, and straightening suited to client features and preferences.
  • Colour TechnologyColour analysis, mixing, application, highlighting, toning, foiling, colour correction, ombre, balayage, and trend-based colour services.
  • TexturizingChemical texture services, including smoothing treatments, relaxers, basic perms, spiral perms, bricklay perms, and soft curl perms.
