This program is suitable for students interested in becoming Nail Technicians, Manicurists, Pedicurists, Gel or Acrylic Nail Technicians, Nail Art Specialists, or self-employed nail professionals.
The Professional Nail Technology Program provides theoretical and practical training in nail care, acrylic and gel systems, nail enhancements, manicures, pedicures, nail art, e-filing, sanitation, client consultation, and salon practice.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to enrol in the Professional Nail Technology Program.
Grade 12, Mature Student Status, or equivalent
19 years of age or older, where applicable
Interest in nail technology, beauty, salon services, spa services, nail art, or entrepreneurship

- EnhancementsCreating nail extensions using tips, sculpting methods, gel, and acrylic systems. Training also includes e-filing, shaping, blending, rebalancing, and introductory nail prosthesis applications.

Student Clinic
Students participate in supervised practical training and student clinic activities in a professional pedicure lounge and fully ventilated nail technology room.
These experiences help learners develop technical skill, confidence, creativity, client communication, service planning, and professional workplace standards under instructor guidance.

6 Months
Approximately 64 weeks of full-time, campus-based study.

Diploma in Professional Nail Technology
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Diploma in Professional Nail Technology from Kosmetae Academy.
Graduates may also qualify to apply for B.C. Beauty Council certification, subject to current eligibility requirements and the applicable certification process.
Kosmetae Academy provides education, practical training, and supporting documentation; however, external certification and employment outcomes are determined by the relevant organization or employer.
