This program is suitable for students interested in becoming Aestheticians, Spa Therapists, Facial Specialists, Makeup Artists, Waxing Service Providers, Nail Technicians, or self-employed beauty professionals.
The Spa Aesthetics Program provides theoretical and practical training in facial care, acne treatments, makeup artistry, waxing, nail enhancements, manicures, pedicures, sanitation, client consultation, and professional spa practice.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to enrol in the Spa Aesthetics Program.
Grade 12, Mature Student Status, or equivalent
19 years of age or older, where applicable
Interest in aesthetics, facial care, makeup artistry, waxing, nail technology, spa services, or beauty practice

- Hair RemovalWaxing skills for common facial and body areas, including appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment care.
Makeup Artistry & Nail Technology Makeup Artistry · Nail Technology
- Makeup ArtistryDay, evening, bridal, photography, fantasy, lash, brow, corrective, and professional makeup techniques.
- Nail TechnologySculptured nails, gel and acrylic extensions, overlays, nail mending, nail prosthesis, nail art, gel polish, manicures, and pedicures.
Professional Practice & Career Preparation Health, Safety & Sanitation · Consultation · Business & Career
- Health, Safety, Sanitation, and Professional TheorySanitation, sterilization, ventilation, anatomy, chemistry, nutrition, skin and nail disorders, aromatherapy, phytotherapy, and professional practice.

Student Clinic
Students participate in supervised practical training and student clinic activities in professional spa, makeup, pedicure, and nail technology environments.
These experiences help learners develop technical skill, confidence, creativity, client communication, service planning, and professional workplace standards under instructor guidance.

Diploma in Spa Aesthetics
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Diploma in Spa Aesthetics from Kosmetae Academy.
Graduates may also qualify to apply for B.C. Beauty Council certification, subject to current eligibility requirements and the applicable certification process.
Kosmetae Academy provides education, practical training, and supporting documentation; however, external certification and employment outcomes are determined by the relevant organization or employer.
